Woke up this morning with the thought that we humans are constantly bouncing between fear and love and that the times we stay in the love zone are the times we are happy. Even though there are a million different descriptions of emotions, they all boil down to love or fear.
A good exercise is to challenge your ego by telling it "I love you" everytime it mutters a negative thought about yourself or others. When you do that, the old ego gives up and goes away...at least temporarily.
I am going to trim a few bushes outside today. The weather is beautiful and it is time for me to do some ayni work (Ayni is the Peruvian Shamanic principal of reciprocity, of give and take).
I love the autumn. Sitting this morning in our sunroom watching all the birds frolic in the breeze was a great way to start the day.

Hello from the far left coast! I like autumn too except for the fact that it is a harbinger of winter, which here in Oregon means rain, rain, and more rain. The colors of Halloween delight me, and it is an important occasion for you Wiccans as well.
I am not Wiccan, but I know what you mean. I'm not partial to a lot of rain either.
